Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I am Positive, that everyone already knows about Pokémon Supreme? Well if not... Where on earth have you been? It's totally going to be the coolest thing EVER!!! well. Let me just give a quick run through of what is actually going to happen in regards to Pokemon Supreme.

It's going to a new generation which a heap of new Pokémon and trainers. There will be no new types, but i can promise you that there will be a new element to evolution that will change the evolution of Pokémon forever

Also, i am considering making the starters Psychic/Fighting/Dark!

Also, as you can see, i have bought myself a Subscription, because i feel like it, and as i don't own a Website anymore, i want a home gallery that looks really attractive and cool!

The collections of features above, are really really inspiring for me! I love the simplicity and calmness of these, and i hope you enjoy them too!

I am really looking forward to the next month or so, as i'll be in Japan! This time next week, i'll be sitting in a house, located in the Aichi Prefecture of Japan! I am really excited because i miss my host family, and i can't wait to see them all again! I should have internet access, so i will be able to make you all jealous and tell you about my trip!

My original circle of 6 starters, consisted of Grass, Water, Fire, Dark, Fighting, Psychic. One problem was I couldn't execute the psychic type, which will be no trouble for you... but the MAIN problem was with the chain of effectiveness, it just didn't work....

I changed my types to Sound, Dark/Electric, and Steel/Fighting. Where sound damages steel, fighting damages dark, and electric damages sound. Dual types proved to be effective.

But that was just my experience, I had a rough time with that type set. You're a well-seasoned Fakemon creator, and a skilled artist, so I don't think you'll encounter the challenges I came across.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Don't do Psychic/Fighting/Dark. The immunity ruins the triangle. The only other possible conbination besides Grass/Fire/Water (with types having a 'Super Effective' AND 'Not Very Effective' against both other types) are are Rock/Fighting/Flying, Fire/Rock/Steel and Grass/Poison/Ground
But the traditional is probably the most logical, because if they wanted to change it, they would have

not a game... it just needs to have some background behind an idea before it comes to be... if you just make, for example.. a fakemon, you can't just make one up with no background behind it... because then it'd fail and just be lame
